A belt conveyor is the backbone of material movement on any production floor. Whether you are transporting raw materials, semi-finished components, or finished products, a well-designed belt conveyor improves efficiency, reduces manual handling, and keeps production moving. Key Design Factors for a Belt Conveyor

• Belt Width – determined by the width and weight of the material being conveyed. Common widths: 300mm, 450mm, 600mm, 900mm, 1200mm.
• Belt Speed – typically 0.1 to 3.5 m/s. High-speed belts are used for light materials; heavy materials need slower, more controlled movement.
• Conveyor Length – from 2 metres to 50+ metres depending on factory layout.
• Inclination Angle – flat conveyors for horizontal transport; inclined conveyors (up to 30°) for elevation changes. Cleated belts are used for steep inclinations.
• Motor & Drive – motor power calculated based on load weight, belt speed, and conveyor length. We use standard gear motors with VFD (variable frequency drives) for speed control.
• Belt Material – rubber belts for general use, PVC/PU belts for food and clean-room applications, heat-resistant belts for foundry environments.
